Route description Traisental & Gölsental to Kaumberg and back

Route: Starting point City Hall St. Pölten – Traisental cycle path – Wilhelmsburg – Traisen – Gölsental cycle path – through Wiesenfeld (detour Wiesenbachtal to Hasenwirt, or to Schwarzenbach, Gh. Hollaus) – on the Gölsendamm to St. Veit sports facilities – cross the B18 at the traffic light – through the town of St. Veit/G. – cross the B18 again – Rohrbach/G. – Hainfeld (brewery) – Landstal – Ramsau – up over Fahrabach – down over Brennhof to Kaumberg. Return on the same route.

Travel by bus or train to St. Pölten main station is possible.

Equipment

No special requirements for the bikes. Helmets are mandatory for children under 12 years old.

Safety information

Please observe the road traffic regulations! Groups with children are advised to dismount and push the bike together when crossing roads. Caution at railway crossings!
