Die Bühne im Hof

Since 1990, Bühne im Hof in the heart of St. Pölten has been raising the curtain on high-quality cabaret and international cultures and ideas. To this day, the Lower Austrian cabaret stage is regarded as a center that is always in tune with the times - for all varieties of cabaret: musical, theatrical, literary and mixed.

The big names and newcomers on the cabaret scene as well as improvisation and innovative theater are constantly complemented by the "Dialogue between Cultures": with readings, lectures and further cultural exchange. There is also a focus on cabaret for children and young people - and on promoting young talent. Guest performances and in-house productions as well as collaborations with other art and cultural institutions ensure a varied and exciting program mix.

Improvising and experimenting, reflecting and discussing, playing and letting off steam: the cultural education offerings at Bühne im Hof are particularly diverse. They range from special kindergarten and school performances to active theater workshops for young and old.
