Wine cellar party - Your exclusive corporate event

Gentle hills with vineyards blend harmoniously into the landscape of the wine regions along the Lower Austrian Danube. Wine is the basis of life for many people in the region and is able to look back on a centuries-old tradition. White wines mainly are pressed in the Traisental and Wachau region. It’s possible to experience excellent wines particularly authentically at the festivals held in Kellergassen (wine cellar lanes) as well as at the traditional wine taverns.

Kellergassen are part of the cultural heritage in Lower Austria and are not only pretty to look at from the outside but are especially worth seeing underground. People now meet to enjoy and socialise in these places that were once production and storage facilities for wine.

Such a unique wine cultural asset is also to be found directly on the outskirts of St. Pölten – the picturesque Rendl Kellergasse. That’s where one – beautifully renovated – historic wine cellar is to be found right next to the other. It’s the venue for your exclusive Kellergassen.Weinfest (wine festival).

Programme:

This celebration of wine is held in two cellars and a wine tavern and restaurant. Local winemakers present their different wines for tasting in the cellars that have been furnished with rustic tables and chairs. Bar tables are set up in front of the cellars in good weather and there’s a cosy Kellergassen atmosphere that’s further enhanced by the appropriate musical entertainment.
People walk and stroll from one cellar to other while enjoying its unique features.

• Guests are welcomed in the wine cellar lane and everyone is presented with a shoulder bag and a wine glass. (Tip: both of which make great souvenirs)

• The Rendl Keller Restaurant offers soup and small hot dishes as well as dessert throughout its opening times. Wines and other drinks are also available.

• Various top winemakers serve fine wines and water, plus winegrower breads, in the cellars

• Regional music groups provide for the appropriate musical entertainment
