Wine-tavern cosiness

Wine culture that’s thousands of years old, more than 28,000 hectares of vineyards and a distinctive wine-tavern landscape – just the thing for fans of wine and culinary delights. Did you know that Lower Austria is the largest region to produce vintage wines in Austria? It’s the place where wine lovers will find everything that their hearts desire. Eight wine-growing regions produce Grüner Veltliner, internationally famous Riesling and the choicest of red wines. Fine wines that need to be tasted.

What sets a typical Lower Austrian wine tavern apart? Award-winning and locally produced wines, a varied choice of dishes that range from traditional to vegetarian and creative light, seasonal delicacies from the region along with the expert service provided by the families running them! ‘Talking brings people together’… as the saying here goes! And a wine tavern is simply the best place for a chat! Come in, take a seat, enjoy the best wines from the region!

St. Pölten is located on the edge of the Traisental wine-growing region, and the Wachau region is not so far away.
