Description

The lime tree is a symbol of justice. Love. And home. It stands for a place of community. Attributes that are internalized by the Figl restaurant in St. Pölten (Ratzersdorf) like no other inn. For centuries, the mighty lime tree has characterized the appearance of this location and casts a welcome shadow over the restaurant. It is run by Matthias Strunz, an innkeeper who has dedicated himself to hospitality. In the truest sense of the word. He leaves the cooking to his excellent team of chefs, who, like the Lindenbaum, are deeply rooted in the region. The lemon baked chicken and the beef fillet roasted on a hot stone are part of the upscale and traditional inn cuisine. The restaurant relies on regional partnerships. From the crunchy vegetables to the juicy beef - the proximity to the producers is praised.

Inn with high standards

The inn itself has a strong character. With a bar in the entrance area that knows how to impress with its nostalgic atmosphere. One thing is undisputed: it is a classic inn, with a slight tendency towards a gourmet restaurant. The restaurant seats 32 people. There is also a dining room, an extra parlor and a regulars' table. In fine weather, the inner courtyard is the preferred choice for an enjoyable get-together. If you have some time to spare and are a fan of fine grape varieties, you will find what you are looking for in the hotel's own wine cellar.
