St. Pölten in a panoramic view

The Kremser Berg offers the best view of the city.

The panoramic path on the western high terrace in the north of the city provides a magnificent view of our city. An old cellar alley near the residential buildings at the foot of the Kremser Berg, rising westwards, forms the entrance.

In spring, the larkspur wraps the slopes in a magical violet, the steep loess walls at the edge of the terrain, which are unique in the entire city area, serve as a habitat for cave breeders and insects that is worth protecting. Even kestrels have chosen the difficult-to-access loess walls as their breeding ground and use dead branches as a vantage point for hunting.
