On the banks of the river Traisen, in the heart of the Landhaus district and thus of Lower Austria's democracy, you can interactively learn interesting, exciting and interesting facts about the state, its people and parliament. Admission is free.

Politics up close - and hands-on!
Since September 2022, you can take a look behind the scenes of state politics in the new "Forum Landtag" visitor center on the first floor of the state parliament ship in St. Pölten and get to know the democratic processes and procedures in our state. In numerous interactive stations, you will encounter all the opportunities for citizen participation, your members of parliament, the election to parliament, the tasks and history of parliament - and you will be able to take part directly.

Politics is not an art - or is it?
A very special art installation also awaits you in front of the "Forum Landtag": Lower Austria as a complete work of art, in which the coats of arms of all 573 municipalities in Lower Austria form the state logo and the lettering "Forum Landtag". The state as the sum of its municipalities - the visual, artistic realization of the state's politics in action.
