As a forum for the visual arts in Lower Austria, the DOK NÖ performs a variety of tasks: it maintains and expands the existing files of artists and shows important attitudes and examples of contemporary art in a lively exhibition activity and offers educational programs.
The DOK NÖ has an impressive structural framework for exhibitions. Exhibitions can be seen regularly, both dedicated to individual artists and thematically oriented.
