The tour begins at Rathausplatz, next to City Hall, and first leads to the Lower Austrian State Theater. From there, it continues to the Franciscan Church and the nearby Carmelite Convent. The route then leads to the City Museum and past the former Institute of the English Ladies.
Crossing Riemerplatz, you reach Kremser Gasse, one of the city’s oldest streets, which leads directly to Domplatz and the Cathedral. The tour then continues to Herrenplatz and the former synagogue, which today serves as an important memorial site. The tour concludes in the Landhausviertel, whose modern architecture provides a fascinating contrast to the historic Old Town.
