Gently rolling hills, fresh air with a slight alpine touch. Pure Mostviertel on this tour.

Description

The Kaiserkogel route leads over the Pielach wooden bridge along the Deutschbach stream to the "Kaisergrub" farm road. Continue through the "Etzhof", where a challenging ascent leads to the Kaiserkogel hut. The descent is in the direction of "Hagelbauer" to the Meiselhöhe. Continue via Plambacheck to the junction with the B39. Turn right towards Hofstetten-Grünau and before the "Pielachtaler Sehnsucht" turn left towards the Pielachtal cycle path. Then turn left back to Rabenstein station.

From Linz: Motorway A1, exit St. Pölten South, turn right onto Mariazeller Bundesstraße B20, turn right again onto Pielachtal Bundesstraße B39, straight ahead to Rabenstein an der Pielach

From Vienna: Motorway A1, exit St. Pölten South, turn right onto Mariazeller Bundesstraße B20, turn right again onto Pielachtal Bundesstraße B39, straight ahead to Rabenstein an der Pielach

By train: Westbahn to St. Pölten, Mariazellerbahn to Rabenstein an der Pielach
