From the Erlauftal through the Melker Alpine foothills into the Pielach valley.

Description

The 42-kilometer-long Melker Alpine Foothills cycle route branches off from the Erlauftal cycle path in Purgstall towards the state capital St. Pölten. The route runs through Oberndorf an der Melk, Mank, Kilb and Bischofstetten to Ober-Grafendorf, where the route joins the Pielachtal cycle path and continues to St. Pölten. The highlight of the Alpine foothills cycle route is the 15 km section of the Radweg Krumpe. Signposted connections or linking paths also lead to the Roman cycle path and the Melk Valley cycle path.

By bus 680 towards Scheibbs or St. Pölten - stop St. Margarethen an der Sierning
